Lieah Maxfield completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology with emphasis in Athletic Training at San Diego State University in 2012. In her final semester at SDSU she completed Emergency Medical Technician training at Miramar College and became a Nationally Registered EMT and a Certified Athletic Trainer in January 2013.
Lieah has worked as an independently contracted First Aid and Emergency Responder for many youth sport organizations and tournaments in San Diego county while also working at Rancho Bernardo High School as an Assistant Athletic Trainer. Lieah left San Diego and continued her education at East Stroudsburg University in Pennsylvania where she gained experience as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer for ESU’s Field Hockey and Womens Lacrosse teams.
Upon graduation in 2015 from the Advanced Clinical Practicum in Athletic Training Master’s program, Lieah was brought on to the staff where she worked full-time in the athletic training clinic caring for injured athletes. Lieah’s priority is the health and safety of all the athletes she works with, and wants to see them succeed, not only on the field but in their endeavors beyond their sport as well. She resides in Palmdale with her husband and looks forward to any day she can get out to go hiking or bouldering.
