Michael Walker comes to the Pioneers after serving three and a half seasons as an assistant coach of the Bethesda University Flames out of the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA).
He is no stranger to the up-tempo pace. While at Bethesda University, Coach Walker helped the Flames make three consecutive playoff trips. He was with the storied 2014-15 NCCAA national runner-up team and played a huge part in helping win Back-to-Back Western Region Championships.
In addition to his coaching duties, Coach Walker handles all aspects of the women’s basketball program and is responsible for teaching footwork, shooting technique, zone-defenses, team play, and more.
Pruitt on Walker-
“Coach Walker loves the game of basketball. He has learned the ins and outs of how to run a high-level program. He was around great mentors, and being from Southern California opens up even more basketball opportunities for our program.”
