Enroll in an afternoon or evening class and be awarded a scholarship of up to $500 upon completion of program! 

Scholarship Opportunity for Students Who Enroll in an Afternoon or Evening Class

Scholarship opportunity for Certificate programs available to current enrollment that start between Jan–May 2017. Offer only for afternoon and evening sessions. 

Up to $500.00 to be awarded only if applicant starts between dates of offer. 

All scholarship funds are awarded upon completion of the program.

UAV Alumni Scholarship Program:

The UAV Alumni Scholarship is designed to encourage graduates of the University to pursue the next level of higher education.  Scholarship funds are credited to the students tuition account and are distributed equally over the period of the student's enrollment.  To qualify, a candidate must have graduated from one of the programs offered at UAV with a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher. Maximum Awards are listed as follows:

**MA, MB, MT, PT, CNA to VN

Up to $1,000

*Certificate to Associate

Up to $2,500

Associate to Bachelor

Up to $5,000

Bachelor to Master

Up to $2,500

 

*Any CA & PB&P grad with a GPA of less than 2.5 may benefit from this scholarship, but must graduate with a 2.5 in Hospitality Management to qualify.

**Scholarship will be awarded at time of completion. This offer expires 05/26/2017.

  • One scholarship per Alumni. UAV Scholarships not to be combined

High School Graduate Scholarship Program: 

All 2017 High School graduates with a GPA of 2.5 and above are eligible to apply. To apply you must complete and submit the attached application along with a copy of your high school transcript to the UAV on or before 08/11/2017.

Applications received after 08/11/2017, will not be considered

  • An additional $500.00 scholarship will be awarded if you choose afternoon/evening classes for a minimum of two semesters

Undergraduate Transfer Degree Scholarship Program: 

All undergraduate transfer degree students (possessing an associate degree), with a GPA of 3.0 and above are eligible to apply. To apply, applicants must complete and submit the attached application along with a copy of your Transcript to the University on or before 08/11/2017.

 Applications received after 08/11/2017 will not be considered

  • Eligible applicants enrolling in one of UAV's Bachelor Degree Programs will qualify for scholarship funds based upon their cumulative GPA, as follows:

Buenas Opiniones Latino High School Graduate Scholarship

This scholarship is for graduating Latino high school seniors or currently enrolled college undergraduate or graduate students. The award is $2,500 per year for up to four years.

Buenas Opiniones will support its scholars in a variety of ways including but not limited to personal, leadership and professional development opportunities, networking and mentorships opportunities, as well as financial and academic support to prepare its scholars to be the next leaders in their professions and communities.

More than 50 million people in the United States identify as Hispanic, making the growing Latino population by far the largest minority group in the country. Though there are continued cultural, economic, and societal barriers to educational success, students of Hispanic descent have recently made significant gains, and Buenas Opiniones would like to contribute to that momentum.
