Mission of the Library of the University of Antelope Valley

It’s the mission of the University of Antelope Valley Library to support the students and faculty in achieving their educational objectives with outstanding service through research, core collections, and freedom to pursue their goals successfully.


Services Offered at the UAV Library

  • Reference services are available which includes both online and book research. Students are encouraged to do their own research but can consult the librarian for assistance.
  • There are computers with Internet connection available for researching and word processing.
  • Students & instructors: For borrowing privileges, sign up for a library card. Applications are available in the library in the main building.
  • Bibliographic instruction is also available to students and instructors. Please inquire with the librarian, Nalini Rostami. Selected topics include plagiarism and Internet researching.
  • Our collection is growing, so please stop by if you need books for an assignment, project, or other research needs.
