Program Description

A certificate in culinary arts and restaurant management opens doors to careers in food service.  Students study food preparation, menu planning, and safety in modern classrooms and kitchens.

Graduates are prepared for entry level employment as prep cooks, cooks, sous chefs, restaurant managers or chef.

UAV Culinary Arts Student is Driven to Succeed
A 2011 graduate of the University of Antelope Valley, Rodriguez has since worked as a dietary cook in a small hospital in northern California and after returning to the AV she was hired as the lead cook in a local sports bar and grill.
