Program Description

A certificate in culinary arts and restaurant management opens doors to careers in food service.  Students study food preparation, menu planning, and safety in modern classrooms and kitchens.

Graduates are prepared for entry level employment as prep cooks, cooks, sous chefs, restaurant managers or chef.

UAV Culinary Department Hosts 'Chef's Table' Tasting
A night of “enchantment” is appropriate to describe the delightful evening experienced from the perspective of a guest invited to dine at the University of Antelope Valley Chef’s Table where the student fare was a Creole-Style Southern tasting menu.
