Medical Clinical Assistant Program

This allied healthcare program is designed to prepare the students for entry into occupations that require employees to have training and skills in "Medical Clinical Assistant". Not only have physicians become more reliant on clinical assistants, but their services are also being requested by hospitals, clinics, nursing homes, medical supply businesses, home health agencies, and pharmaceutical companies. Prospective students are encouraged to visit the institution's campus to receive a tour and to discuss personal educational and occupational plans with school personnel, prior to enrolling or signing enrollment agreements. Theory and laboratory are taught residentially.

Program Objective

The objective of the medical clinical assistant program is to provide students with the skills and knowledge that will enable them as graduates to qualify for entry-level positions as medical clinical assistants. Our students will be trained in clinical procedures. This training will allow our students the capability of filling a variety of entry-level positions. This program is intended for those students who have graduated from high school or have a GED; no experience in the medical field is necessary. At the completion of this course, the student will receive a certificate of completion.

No high school diploma or GED needed. (Morning and evening classes available.)
