Head Coach Bryan Moses
Coach Moses attended Casa Grande High School and continued his baseball career at Santa Rosa Junior College. A middle infielder, Coach Moses moved on to Sonoma State University and graduated with a degree in Communications. He has since completed his Master’s degree in Physical Education and Recreation. Coach Moses pursued his baseball and teaching career at Skyline High School in Idaho Falls, Idaho where he was the Head Varsity Baseball Coach for two seasons. At Skyline, Coach Moses took over a team that had not had a winning record in 10 years; Moses compiled a record of 28-18 in his two years as Head Coach. Moses has a real passion for baseball and has been very active in baseball programs in Idaho and California. Moses also served as the Head Club Baseball Coach at the University of California, Berkeley. Most recently, Moses served as an Assistant Coach under Rick Bosetti at Simpson University (NAIA) in Redding, CA. In 2011 Moses helped coach the Simpson squad into the playoffs where they knocked off the #1 seed in the conference tournament. He is looking forward to bringing his baseball knowledge to the Pioneer program.

Assistant Coach Chase Tigert

Coach Tigert is entering his first season as the Assistant Coach for the University of Antelope Valley. Coach Tigert began his collegiate baseball career pitching for the University of San Francisco in the West Coast Conference. In the summer of 2008, he earned All-Star recognition pitching for the Bethesda Big Train in the Cal Ripken Summer League. He later graduated Cum Laude from California Lutheran University with a Bachelor's of Science in Exercise Science. While at Cal Lutheran, Coach Tigert earned First Team All-SCIAC Honors, First Team All- West Region Honors, contributed to the Kingsmen's first regional appearance since 2001, and was ranked by Baseball America as the number one prospect in NCAA Division III. He received his Masters in Exercise Science specializing in Sports Business and Athletic Administration from the University of Central Missouri in the summer of 2011.

Assistant Coach Bryan Barrington

Coach Barrington attended Foothill High School in Palo Cedro, CA. He played 4 years of baseball, 3 years varsity, at 1
st base. He was awarded All-League twice and All-Section his senior year. Coach Barrington received a baseball scholarship to CSU Sacramento out of high school. He played 2 years at Shasta CC in Redding, CA, playing 3
rd base and 1
st base. Coach Barrington then received a baseball scholarship to Oregon Institute of Technology (NAIA), playing 2 years at 3
rd base. He was honorable mention All-Conference his junior year. After his college baseball career Coach Barrington graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from Oregon Institute of Technology. He later spent time with the Chico Outlaws of the Golden Baseball League as a catcher. Coach Barrington assisted in coaching the Simpson University Redhawks in the 2011 season before moving on to play and coach baseball in Northern Germany. His father, Paul Barrington, coached 15 years of high school baseball in Santa Cruz County and is currently an assistant coach at Simpson University. Bryan has extensive experience and knowledge about hitting, corner infield, and catching. He is working on a Master’s Degree in Business Management at the University of Antelope Valley.
