Monday – Thursday, 1:30pm – 5:30pm
Courses vary in length. Students complete 1 course at a time.
Full time externship hours vary.
Program Description
This program provides basic coursework to enable graduates to obtain employment as photovoltaic installation technicians. Students will practice the concepts learned in class in the laboratory as well as during the fieldwork portion of the program.
Program Learning Outcomes
Upon successful program completion graduates will be able to:
- Understand environmental conditions and code compliance
- Participate in site survey, using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE’s)
- Assemble and understand the construction and features of PV modules and the various performances.
