BJ Porter Named Head UAV Cross Country Coach
University of Antelope Valley Director of Athletics Jeff Bussell has announced the hiring of BJ Porter as the head cross country coach for men and women. Porter comes to the Pioneers after spending the last two years at Layton Christian Academy in Layton, Utah.

UAV Professor Collaborates on Steel Manufacturing Process
Taxpulat Ruzi, Ph.D., and mathematics professor at the University of Antelope Valley accepted a March 14 thru March 26, 2015, invitation to the Institute of Mathematics for Industry at Kyushu University in Fukuoka, Japan to attending Ph.D.s in an on-going collaborative work “Mathematical study on dynamics of plumes in MHD flows.”

Retired Fire Captain Makes a Difference in the AV
Firefighters are respected in every community, and when the rig arrives on a scene, they are always welcomed, waved on-scene, viewed in awe, and sometimes there are even cheers. Firefighting is certainly an esteemed and appreciated career; however, it is not for everyone.
