Medical Billing
This allied healthcare program is designed to prepare the students for entry into occupations that require employees to have training and skills in "Medical Billing". Not only have physicians become more reliant on medical billers, but their services are also being requested by hospitals, clinics, nursing homes, medical supply businesses, home health agencies, insurance companies, and pharmaceutical companies. Prospective students are encouraged to visit the institution's campus to receive a tour and to discuss personal educational and occupational plans with school personnel, prior to enrolling or signing enrollment agreements. Theory and laboratory are taught residentially.
Program Objective
The objective of the medical billing program is to provide graduates with the skills and knowledge that will enable them as graduates to qualify for entry-level positions as a medical biller. Our students will be trained in a variety of medical billing procedures. At the completion of this course, the student will receive a certificate of completion.
No High School Diploma or GED needed. (Morning and evening classes available.)
