Medical Assistant Program
The medical assistant program has been designed to prepare the student for entry-level positions in a variety of medical settings. Prospective students are encouraged to visit the institution's campus to receive a tour and to discuss personal educational and occupational plans with school personnel, prior to enrolling or signing enrollment agreements. Not only have physicians become more reliant on medical assistants, but their services are also being requested by hospitals, clinics, nursing homes, medical supply companies, home health aide agencies, insurance companies, and pharmaceutical companies. Theory and laboratory are taught residentially.
Program Objective
The objective of the medical assistant program is to provide graduates with the skills and knowledge that will enable them to qualify for entry-level positions as a medical assistant. Our students will be trained in administrative and clinical procedures. At the completion of this course, the student will receive a certificate of completion.
No high school diploma or GED needed. (Morning and evening classes available.) Must pass Ability-to-Benefit (ATB) testing to enroll.
