Pre-requisites: None
This course incorporates a range of grammar lessons and writing prompts to develop
students’ ability to create thesis statements, draft and develop paragraphs, and write and
revise their own essays.

English Literature
Pre-requisites: ENG101 or its equivalent
This course provides foundation skills in literary interpretation by exploring plot, theme,
setting, and literary/poetic tools using short stories, plays, and poetry to best effect.

This course equips students with interpersonal and basic public speaking skills geared to prepare them for work-related interactions involving communication-based, problem-solving skills.

Physical Education: Health and Wellness Theory

This course has a thorough coverage of physical fitness and health. Students will understand the importance of healthy habits and activity through nutrition, muscular strength, and weight management to insure a healthy life.

This course includes an overview of statistical methods, focusing on interpreting statistical data and communicating results gathered from statistical analysis.

This course gives a comprehensive overview of political, economic, social, religious,
intellectual, and cultural history from early human civilization to the beginnings of
the industrial revolution.

World History: 1800 - Present
Pre-requisites: HIS101A
This is a follow-on course to HIS 101 carrying the historical lesson from 1800 to the present day.

US History
Pre-requisites: None
This course offers a unique look at United States History from colonial times to the present.
Students will explore the cultural, political, and military history which has shaped modern
U.S. policy.

This course offers comprehensive yet concise overview of the basic principles of psychology.

Introduction to Sociology
