The University of Antelope Valley is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper at the University. The Bookkeeper is responsible for providing accounting and clerical support to the Research group. Maintains accounting document files, including daily work and accounts receivable and payable. Keys daily worksheets to the general ledger system. Assists accounting personnel as requested. Works under general supervision.

Essential Job Duties include the following, but are not limited to:

  • Ensures all vendor invoices are distributed, approved, and entered on a daily basis
  • Posts customer invoices with the correct quantities and prices to customer account
  • Ensures customer Invoices are generated & distributed on a daily basis
  • Records all transactions in QuickBooks.

Qualifications: Proficient in QuickBooks with a minimum of three (3) years of bookkeeping and/or accounting experience. Hold a High School Diploma or its Equivalency.
