The University of Antelope Valley, located in Lancaster, CA, is currently seeking an Instructor for its Criminal Justice program.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience: The successful candidate will hold a Masters Degree in the field and/or at least 18 credits in related field from an accredited institution. Preferred candidates will hold a doctorate degree, have college level teaching experience, and expertise to instruct one or more courses in the field. Organizational abilities and excellent written and oral communication skills are also required.
Responsibilities: Faculty will prepare for and teach assigned classes, hold required office hours, advise students, be active on faculty and university committees, and maintain an active program of professional development. Additionally, the candidate will participate in student recruiting efforts, community relations, and other duties assigned by the Dean of Academics.
